Michael Chalmers
As Founder of Summit Supply Chain Solutions, Mike Chalmers is both Coach and Cheerleader for the organization. Mike has a proven leadership record with over 20 years of experience optimizing retail grocery/food service supply chain processes.
Prior to establishing Summit, Mike was responsible for leading a shared services procurement platform for three national brands and one production facility with Einstein-Noah-Caribou. Previously, he was Director of Global Procurement for The Cheesecake Factory where he envisioned and implemented multiple business processes that improved product quality as well as the removal of tens of millions of dollars from annualized food costs. Mike’s professional career also includes successful retail grocery experience with Trader Joe’s, Smart & Final and Ralphs Grocery Company.
He earned an MBA from University of La Verne, a BA from Cal Poly Pomona/University of La Verne, Executive Leadership Program from UCLA and Post-Graduate Supply Chain work from Stanford University.
